June 2006
11:14 PM 6/25/2006 A few updates have been made to the GS5 mod, some necessary and some just for a nice addition. More Order and Chaos spells are on display on their respective Spell Information pages. 7:16 PM 6/23/2006 I have taken some time to complete some of the GS5 Spell Pages. Air, Earth, Fire and Water now have the first spells from each of their books displayed in each of their respective pages. 4:59 PM 6/20/2006 A few updates worth mentioning. I have placed a few new things up for download. Awhile back I added a Cursor to the downloads page, the very same [default] cursor which is seen in Lords of Magic. Also, there are Windows Icons available for download. Such icons featured are scrolls and faith icons, most of which are available as 32x32 and 16x16 icons. Then in another zip file are six icons, three of them are 16x16 and the other three are 32x32. These six icons are for other editors out there, who would like to see an original icon for *.gs extention files. So rather than a crumby notepad-looking icon, there are a few variations to choose from which use actual LOMSE graphics. 12:34 PM 6/11/2006 The GS5 is now Final, but has had once recent change after its Final Release. No more content patches are expected at this point in time, only fixes. The GS6B project is underweigh. New spell graphics, new stat icon graphics and new action button graphics. I will say that Axe Wielding units and Staff Wielding units will display their own unique Attack button, rather than the regular Sword button. The GS6B will require its users to import graphics using Ladik's MPQ Editor. A list of instructions will come with its first release. Also, I have added the first of each kind of spell for Chaos and Order. And technically, the Chaos Offensive spell being displayed is actually the second spell in its list. But, I'm sure you really care /sarcasm. 3:19 PM 6/6/2006 Faith of the Month updated. My current project is implementing the new spell graphic. This is going to be a mighty complicated process. The game will only look to pic.mpq for the spell graphics. If there was only some way I could change this, it would make things much easier for other people to view the new graphics. Also I am currently working on implementing a graphic that will have 52 spell icons per faith, up from 26 spells. You can see an example in the forum (labeled "Message Board" in the left frame, aka site guide).
