Any Mage, except for Life Mages, may wield this unholy staff to receive +(1/3X) Attack, +(1/3X) Armor, +10 Mana and the ability to cast Locust Swarm. At the start and end of combat, quarter health is restored. In combat, this staff provides the wielder with an additional +10 Attack vs Life creatures, -10 Attack vs Death creatures and a 25% chance of invoking Leeches in melee (half versus Undead).

Yeoman and Cavalier may also wield this staff and invoke leeches 5% of the time.
