Witches may wield this staff to recieve extra mana, improved attack, improved rate of attack and the ability to cast Polmorph Self. In combat, Witches are granted the Piercing Attack combat ability with a +1 bonus and Witches Level 10+ may invoke Polymorph Other 5% of the time.

Piercing Attacks reduce a defender's Armor to zero for the attack performed. With this artifact, Piercing Attacks will not effect Lords, Special Champions, Leaders or Heirs.

Non-Witches who wield this staff risk being permanently being polymorphed.
